Our Values

We strive to have a positive impact on our community and reduce our impact on our planet through our fair wage policy, our safe space policy, our sustainable packaging, and our donations to local non-profits (more details below).

No Tipping Necessary

Here at Brownies and Bites we believe it is our responsibility, not the customer’s, to ensure that our employees are all paid a fair and living wage. That is why we have adopted a no tipping policy and ensure all of our employees are paid a fair and living wage. All of our prices are pre-determined to allow us to provide living wages to all of our employees.

If you enjoyed your experience here, rather than a tip, we’d appreciate your show of support by leaving us some feedback via an online review, following us on Instagram (@browniesandbitesus), or simply thanking our wonderful employees for their hard work.

Giving Back

Every year we give a portion of our profits to local non-profits focused on conservation, abortion access, the LGBTQ community, and homeless youth, including the following organizations:

We also donate brownies and desserts to a variety of fundraisers for local schools and non-profits. Please reach out at info@browniesandbites.com to request donations aligned with our charitable giving goals. It is always our pleasure to bring some joy into your day and be a part of this vibrant community :).

Sustainability

We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact through several key initiatives, including the use of recyclable packaging, sourcing local ingredients whenever possible to support local agriculture and reduce carbon emissions, and implementing comprehensive composting practices to minimize food waste.

Safe Space

As an LGBTQ immigrant of color-owned business, we deeply understand the importance of creating an inclusive environment. We always strive to foster a safe and welcoming space where all our employees and customers can feel valued, respected, and empowered to be their full, authentic selves, embracing their unique identities and experiences.
